The You Gu Shen Pond is a natural scenic spot at the south foot of the Yun Meng Mountains, 15 kilometers northeast of Huairou District and 75 kilometers from downtown Beijing. More than 20 famous scenic spots include the well known Yingzui and Yueyan Peaks, Yingyue pool and lovely Xuanfei Waterfall. A spectacular site is Ding Shang Shen Pool with a 50 meter high waterfall. This is an ideal summer retreat with a number of swimming spots. Wooden cabins, Japanese-style guest houses and tents are available for overnight guests.
