Asian Star, Beijing

The food was excellent, Indian-Chinese with plenty of Indian flavor. We were happy to go here since much of traditional Chinese cuisine lacks interesting spice. Asian Star is located in the fashionable China World Trade Center along side Gucci, Versace and Louis Vitton, Haggen Daz, Starbucks and even KFC. Inside the atmosphere is extremely clean, neat and white-table cloth service (not common in Beijing). The price is a little more than most Beijing'ers spend, but the price is still low and modest, and excellent value. I was somewhat disturbed early on that there were many westerners in the restaurant, but that taste quickly made me forget this. Good for a casual meal, or a good place to take business associates.
