With its walls drenched in rock memorabilia, menus packed with classic American fast-food, and shop stocked to the rafters with the franchise's much-imitated T-shirt collection, this place is as Hard Rock as you get. Love it or hate it, you have to admire their success in luring hordes of tourists and nouveau riche locals to guzzle overpriced burgers and coke amidst replica platinum albums and rock stars' secondhand clothing. After the kitchens close (10.30pm) it turns into a popular, if somewhat cheesy, disco. Beer costs CNY30 a pint and cocktails start at CNY35.
