Ice cold beer at resonable prices. About $2.00 a bottle. Always a bunch of english speaking customers from all over. Many live there and can always point out something to not miss that may be going on. Its a great getaway once you have been doing everything Chinese for a week.

I used to be a frequent patron of the old Frank's Place a number of years ago and visited the new Frank's for the first time on my trip to Beijing last week. It was absolutely fantastic! The food was great and it even looked a bit like the old Frank's! I stayed at the Rosedale Hotel so the location was perfect - right across the street. I strongly recommend it to anyone travelling through Beijing. Really friendly staff, great selection of beers, HUGE outdoor screen and just really nice environment in general.

I lived in Beijing from 94 to 96, spent alot of time eating and being social at Frank's Place. Food is top notch and the service was always great and server's friendly. How to be back in Beijing again soon. Do NOT MISS a fantastic meal at Frank's.

Great atmoshere, warm and welcoming, good multinational crowd, cheap drinks, great pub food, sparkling clean, great toilets (hard to find in Beijing bars). A must on your list when visiting Beijing. Irish bar manager is absolutely insane. Near Holoiday inn Lido Hotel and Rosedale Hotel. Lots of restaurants on this street. Right opposite the Japanese school next to an Italian Restaurant.
