Jazz Ya, Beijing

I had an appointment in Jazz Ya, a dark bar on east side of San litun North street, a bit tucked away, and to my surprise it had evolved into a nice white swan... nicely designed, yet small restaurant. A fairly diverse menu, with japanese noodles dominating. Nice cutlery, nice porcelain, friendly service - though a bit slow -, and good food. Although the taste was a bit on the Chinese side... And unlike the other Japanese restaurants, no Chinese Japanese yelling at every visitor coming in. THAT is an improvement indeed. Will go there again for sure.
