Lifestyle Garden Centre, Johannesburg

I love it at Lifestyle, with a shoe shop (stunning shoes) bead shop, pet shop, party shop for baloons ect,more shops than I can name now! lovely plants, big range, play & entertainment area for children (small to primary school age) it has something to do and find for everyone. I prever the tearoom upstairs from the restaurant, the atmosphere is very relaxing, no children under 6 allowed there or if you have children you have access to the play area from the restaurant down stairs, all the same food and delicious! I can hang arround there for hours and always find something to take home...

THis is one of the best places in the world and the tragedy is that you only realise how much you miss it, when its not up the road from you. I now live in Cyprus, its a nightmare! People are not very interested in gardening and only want a plant if the neighbour has one - and then theirs to top it all, must be bigger, greener and with more blommetjies on. I miss home so much and every weekend I wish I was at Lifestyle. I am now trying to convince a large nursery here, that we should try and touch the surface of what Lifestyle SA has done.

I love the plant section, My Son and His Wife love everything else and my Grandaughter loves to ride the ponies. We normally spend about 3 hours there.

Somewhere to spend a morning, beautiful gardens, relaxed, helpful friendly staff, great food, entertainment for everyone. Its well worth going to and you wont ever leave empty handed.

Great for kids and the whole family! Somethings are a little expenive, bit soo much variety. The staff are well trained and very helpful! Other shops, unrelated to gardening. Great Kids hairdresser, the only one my sons will go to! Grandma and Grandad love it too.
