Brightwater Commons, Johannesburg

A family leisure and retail complex formed by damming the Jukskei river, Brightwater Commons is the hub of entertainment in the Randburg area. The harbor-like setting adds charm to the myriad of restaurants and bars that surround the lake. Water sport displays are common, and canoeists, scuba divers or water-skiers are often to be found splashing about in the lake. An on-site flea market offers further shopping opportunities for visitors. There is no entrance fee, although parking in the secure parking area is charged for.
