Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve
Description
A pleasant 25-minute drive through the southern hills of Johannesburg leads one to this nature reserve where a variety of game, including cheetah, roam an unspoiled wilderness. The reserve offers nearly 100 kilometers of hiking trails as well as a tarred tourist route that winds through grassy knolls covered with herds of grazing antelope. Two resorts are situated within the reserve in order to receive day visitors and accommodate staying guests. Prices for accommodation vary from season to season and need to be confirmed prior to departure. Suikerbosrand is an unforgettable experience for the avid nature lover.
