World-famous for their astounding tricks, The South African Lipizzaners perform the same routines and create the same breathtaking stunts as the original Viennese teams. The riders of these white horses never fail to thrill. Depending on the time of year, lucky visitors may also be able to take in a day at the Sappi Horse Trials ground where horses of a different caliber take their chances at cross-country eventing. All situated within walking distance of one another, these venues form the unofficial heart of 'horse-land' in Johannesburg. Shows hosted every Sunday at 10:30.

I've been 4 times!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/06
The Lipizzaner show is amazing! I have been 4 times and loved it every time. The horses and the feats that they perform are spectacular. There is a great family atmosphere. Young and old alike will love the show. Take your kids or grandparents! After the show the public is allowed to go visit and feed the horses in their stables. No where else in the world could you do this. A defenite must see!
