Wandie's Place, Johannesburg

Four of us had a meal at Wandies (Airport) and we were sooooo impressed. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. 10 out of 10 for a restaurant. Good value for your money. Well done keep up the good work.

Hi ... I recently took two overseas visitors to the Wandies at the airport.. I want to say that i was totally embarrassed and soemthing needs to be done about it. I had heard of the reputation of Wandies so presumed the restaurant at the airport would bs the same. It was nothing short of a total embarrassment to SA and the comment from my visitors was that the service and mere tea that we had was shocking. 1. Confusion over who was serving us - so no one did ... for ages. 2. It was Sunday 20 DEc at 11.00 and it was not busy. Eventually got someones attention and we then ordered two teas and a decaf cappucino. 3. Order took ages and my visitors were catching a plane. 4. Order came with 1 tea and 1 filter coffee. 5. Left one tea and went back for correct order 5. 2nd tea was brought with an undrinkable burnt cappucino. 6. we had to pay R39 for a disastrous and embarrassing tea break before my visitors left SA. 7. Last impressions are lasting impressions.
