Maharaj, Mogale City

Specialising in the spicy dishes of northern India, Maharaj has a welcoming interior. The candle lit dining area creates the romance of an Indian love affair. The furnishings are minimalist yet the pinkish red colour of the table settings and chairs is continued throughout the restaurant in the carpeting and drapes, which are gilt edged. Archways have been adorned with designs reminiscent of a temple or palace in India whilst Hindi paintings adorn the walls. Maharaj has a selection of curries and tandoori items - Vindaloos, Tikka Masala, Kormas, subtle vegetarian dishes and many more Indian delicacies.
