Windsor Park Municipal Golf Course, Ethekwini

It is a wonderful little course with great potential however it has been neglected by the Municipality, most courses would have closed after this neglect however Windsor has survived. If the officials wake up in time this little gem will be like gold...... It needs work on the tee boxes and greens...... A general clean up would be good as well

A particularly dry winter and a lack of adequate irrigation has left the course in rather bad shape. The fairways in particular are bone dry with very little grass cover in some places. The greens and tee boxes have been watered but not sufficienty to give a good putting surface. General "housekeeping" around the course is still pretty good with bunkers raked, leaves swept, facilities clean and tidy,etc. Don't get me wrong, this lovely old parkland course is still very playable and worth a visit. It is such a pity that the local Municipality has not given it the same attention it has given to the new soccer stadium and its surrounds.

very nice, informal atmosphere makes it nice for someone starting the game. the extremely reasonable fees are a great advantage.

This is a very fair course, and excellent value for money... It is a very busy course, and considering this, it is in very good condition.
