Description
Windmeul Co-op Wine Cellar was established in 1944 and presses an average of 13,000 tons of grapes annually. This stock is received from a wide area, stretching from Agter-Paarl, Wellington and Paardeberg to Malmesbury. Presently, wines are mainly sold to SFW (Stellenbosch Farmers Winery), though small quantities are available directly from the cellar. Stormy Cape Chenin Blanc, which is sold to restaurants in England, is the only export product of Windmeul Co-op Wine Cellar Limited, at present.
