For a unique experience only 20 minutes from Cape Town's City Center, visit an ostrich farm offering informative tours. Also on-site is a high quality, great value leather and curio shop, and an ostrich meat restaurant. A major attraction is the tour around the well-equipped education centre. Knowledgeable staff are on standby to explain details about the life of an ostrich, these birds have been exported from South Africa to India and Japan since 1658. The farm is situated within the Boland Wheatlands with magnificent views of Table Mountain and the Hottentots Holland mountains.

Park up outside a beautiful Cape Dutch homestead and begin your day! Take the tour with a well informed guide around a very clean and well maintained Ostrich ranch - our boys love it - now 6 and 4 - have been going since they were babies. Hold the baby Ostriches, feed the bigger ones, see the Emu, peacocks(and Albino peacocks) walking around - sit on a Ostrich for a photo with the magnificent backdrop of Table Mountain - followed by lunch on the terrace and an ice cold Savanna - bliss! There's a kiddies park so you can relax and take in the wonderful scenery and relaxed environment.
