Imperial Yacht Club, Cape Town

This small club on the shores of Sandvlei is situated just outside Muizenberg. The club offers tuition to novice sailors (free to members) on weekends and public holidays. Beginners are taught in an Optimist, but later progress to the Dabchick. Junior members get to enjoy regular sleepovers. These nights include a day of sailing, concluded with games and videos in the evening. A small fee is asked to cover the cost of meals. the space can be hired to host private events.
