We were drawn in by the warm and fuzzy appearance. The restaruant is like a little diner inside the pharmacy and smacks of old-timey charm. There are booths, soda fountain style seating, and regular tables. There is also a very charming electric train that runs along the top of the wall that keeps the children enthralled.
The charming atmosphere is, unfortunately, not enough to make me or my family make a return visit. It was twenty minutes before a waitress came to our table. We were not acknowledged when we walked in, though we made eye contact with the servers more than once. We felt like they were trying to ignore us so we'd go away.
Finally, my fiancee got up and asked for menus. The lady behind the counter said nothing, handed a handful over, and continued what she was doing. TEN more minutes later, a server came, did not even say hello, and when one of our children began to order, she kept interrupting her and going HUH???
The food came out cold, my order was wrong, even though I repeated myself to this waitress three times, AT LEAST, and we were never once thanked for our business, no goodbye, no hospitality whatsoever. We felt like we inconvenienced them by coming in. Even though the food was tolerable at best, the service left a very bad taste.
Do NOT reccommend.
