Leinster Hall is a very stylish restaurant in a Victorian house, complete with beautiful gardens. The large dining room has magnificent ceilings with painted rosettes, a Victorian crystal chandelier, shuttered windows and large fireplaces. With turquoise plates and striking art, your dining experience will be thoroughly refined. Their glorious food includes: chilled crayfish with a curried vegetable essence and saffron; crisp roast duckling with kumquat sauce and crunchy caramelised ginger; and game with pistachio terrine with port and juniper sauce. There is a small range of top-rated Cape wines.
The best meal I have had in years. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and fresh crisp and clean. Complimentary Amuse Bouche and Sorbet was a pleasant surprise accompanied by a great wine list and efficient, professional service. Compact but varied menu with great, not seen anymore items on the menu Quail, Springbok, Warthog, Duck, Foie Gras and many other.
