Savoy Cabbage, Cape Town

After reading good reviews we spent an evening at Savoy Cabbage but were very disappointed. Service was good but food was poor. The butternut and feta starter was overdone and tastless, the lamb dry with little sauce. I asked for more sauce which they kindly supplied but charged me for it! Never in all my fine dining around the world has any restuarant charged me for a sauce top up!! If you are going to spend above average prices for a meal in Cape Town there are better places (like Aubergine!)

Great style with food to match. Located in the historic Heritage Square, this is one of those "finds" that you keep telling your friends about. Not to be missed.

Is a very nice place with a nice ambiance. The menu was very original and you cand find wild animals in the menu like Warthog and Kudu. The service was very good and exceed my expectations

The food is the best and most interesting I have ever experienced. The food even reads interesting from the menu before you order, the goat cheese salad was amazing and so was the wilderbeast.
