Beluga, Cape Town

Once again Beluga did not fail to impress,my last night in Cape Town whenever i return is always spent there. From the moment you enter you are greeted by extremely friendly staff, by the time you leave you are full with beautiful tasting food from starter to dessert, oh and the staff are STILL so welcoming. We walked in to find the old Beluga with a new trend and twist that suite both young and old in our family. Cafe side to have coctails before moving to the main dinning room, we did no feel rushed at all.Rolls on table fresh baked. The sushi is of best quility I have tasted with some new items -hosin duck handroll - not just the same old same old. Adding to the rest of the menu with best selection I have ever seen. Managers and staff so competend and care for every need. With the light jazz in the back ground you will not feel like just a number but like the most importend.

It felt like I was at a sushi Mcdonalds. The sushi was of a poor quality.

LIKE Currently Beluga are running a great half-price special on sushi. The sushi is good and very well priced taking the special into account. DISLIKE - Service was horrible. It took about 20 minutes before we even spoke to a waiter. Out order took about 60 minutes to arrive and even then there were mistakes - The half price cocktails are rubbish. Poorly made and tiny (less than half normal size) On the whole - only go if you want sushi and are willing to wait for ages.
