This place touts itself as a "neighbourhood restaurant and bar". Its interior is huge, with enough space for five Egyptian birthday parties to rage on, with room left over for walk-ins. The walls are liberally decorated with sports and media paraphernalia: cricket bats, movie snaps, tennis shoes and posters of pop icons. A long arched bar with neon blue highlights pumps out both cocktails and mocktails. Videos screen MTV while music screams in the background. The food here is pricey but good. Burgers (EGP15-25) and steaks (EGP33-50) are well prepared and come with fries. Try the Tijuana Philly Steak (EGP23.50)—a delicious tortilla filled with spicy beef, cheese and goodies. Be careful of the bar tab: beer starts at EGP13.50 per bottle and cocktails can exceed EGP35. Underpowered margaritas (EGP14.50) come a tad on the salty side, but Mai Tais are fine.
