With branches all over the world, this American eatery is not the place to go for a unique dining experience. Still, the buzzing atmosphere makes it a very good spot for a casual get together. The interior is cluttered with the usual licence plates and street signs. The staff are a little too bubbly for comfort, but the groups dining here always seem to enjoy themselves - this is not the place for a quiet evening out. An extensive menu offers American and Mexican dishes such as fajitas, salads, soups and steaks. There is also pizza, pasta and some vegetarian dishes. The hefty steaks cost an equally hefty EGP 50, but most entrees are more reasonably priced. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served, and the bartenders make wicked cocktails.
Actually this restaurant is very nice to have a nice time with friends and enjoy with your girl or fiance. I like to to go every month because I live here now and always like to go and eat something nice. The service is excelent and the personal very professional like Demiana in Sharm El Shiekr. Visited TGI for lunch with my 2 young kids and my wife. Great location boat works well as a base for the restaurant. Best feature - a dedicated non smoking area, a luxury in Cairo! Food, service and value were all acceptable, neither particuarly good or bad. No real gripes, high chair provided for our toddler, would visit again.
Our table was dirty. Then a long wait for just barely warm food. Waiter is no where around if you want him or ignores customer. We asked for box to take home food. Told him everything EXCEPT french fries. Had to tell him again after he left to take the rest of food for take out. Got home and had nothing but the meat and FRENCH FRIES. This was at the TGIF in City Stars. BTW this is the 2nd time at same place for bad service. 1st one being couple years ago. So guess will be another couple years at least before we go back.
i went into friday's because it was recommended by a friend.. but instead i was faced with the worst treatment ever... the waiter ignoring me when i was telling him to clean the table, giving us less glasses than our count, taking forever to get our orders, refusing to take the dishes after we're done... and even the food tasted less than average... but overall the worst thing about this resturant is their service...
realy realy awful & by awful i mean everithin the quality of food & service i mean cmon we paid money to be yelled at by a waiter seriously he literally yelled at us to pass by & his manager saw it & didnt care ,this was in friday in elmerylan heliopolis on thursday dec 13,i used to like this place but now if it is the last restaurant on earth i wont come ever so are my friends
