Sultana del Avila (La), Caracas

It seems as though the menu of this functional restaurant, situated in the midst of the industrial uproar of Boleíta Sur, has been influenced more by the name of its building, "zarzuela," than by its own Caracan name. Alongside the "pabellón criollo" and baked bananas, you will find fish, meat and seafood dishes cooked Spanish style, as well as the odd international offering. All this adds up to only a limited menu. The main aim of the establishment, which has recently been given a new look in wood and stone, is to cater to the needs of the large numbers of people who work and pass through the area. This it does well, and at good prices.
