Teatro a Mil
Description
This event takes place in the Mapocho Station cultural center, an old railway depot that has been converted into a cultural center. Attendees are treated to a bevy of theatrical productions during the month. The schedule includes performances by clowns, mimes, poets and dancers, as well as dramatic readings, street theatre and other performance art. Teatro a Mil means Theater for a Thousand, as in 'a thousand pesos' or two dollars. Keeping with this populist theme, ticket prices are kept very affordable so that all may attend.
