Situated in the centre of Providencia, an area of Santiago which is both commercial and residential. The Peruvian owners opened this restaurant only two years ago and they have been so successful, especially with the young people, due either to their affordable prices or the quality of food, that they have had to build an extension to include the house next door.
Food great, nice place....Great Peruvian food outside Peru. The lomo saltado was very good. For a real Pisco Sour, we liked it more than the Chilean version. The service was great too and very helpful. We had a good time eating there
I took my family to eat here instead of Los Ranchos. I was craving ceviche and lomo saltado. The place was practically empty, and I waited 2 hrs. for the food, and the food was not good. The price was outstanding. The service was poor. Never again, Never.Go anywhere else than here.
Off the beaten path in Providencia, the place has no exterior signs indicating it is a restaurant. Not to fear...the owner told me that his clientele finds the place by word of mouth. I can understand why.
The food was simply mouth-watering. We started with the customary pisco sour (Peruvian style) and were not disappointed. This was followed by a delightful appetizer of "pulpo de olivar" (octopus with olive paste. Never tried octopus before, but after this experience I will !! Our main courses consisted of "Picante de camerones," a wonderfully picante treatment of shrimp in a chili-laced cream sauce, complete with rice, chopped olives, and egg slice. I had the "Lomo Salteado," beef sauteed with onion, tomato, parsley, chilis, and topped with papa frites.
While the exterior is almost hidden, the interior is spotlessly clean. The wait staff is clean and attentive, the decor is light and airy, the airconditioning works wonderfully (a plus on a scorching day), and there is absolutely NO SMOKING!!! What more can one ask?
This restaurant is one of the best I have visited in Chile...after 4 trips. A true gem!!
This outstanding restaurant, serving divine Italian food, has 38 years of experience in the culinary art, during which the owners
themselves have been involved with their traditional methods in the preparation of Italian and international food. It is named ...
This venue could not be better situated. Nestled in the heart of the business area, it draws a clientele consisting
primarily of local executives. The food served is high quality American cuisine and definitely not fast food.
Pinpilinpausha is a traditional Basque restaurant, founded in 1940 and based in the center of Santiago. Just five years owner
Mauricio Sanz opened another restaurant in the residential area of El Golf.
