Description

This original restaurant, situated on the top floor of a high-rise building, offers you a panoramic view of Santiago for an hour at a time. The floor is built onto a revolving mechanism that turns the room a full 360 degrees during your meal. A large round bar constitutes the main and central part of the big eating area. The tables are arranged alongside the large windows, which allow you to enjoy a truly magnificent, and changing, view. They specialize in seafood and fish prepared in the Chilean tradition, although they also serve a variety of meat dishes including duck and chicken. Try the sweetcorn ceviche and don't miss a chance to try the duck in orange sauce. Desserts and cakes are homemade. There is also a set menu at CLP6,500. It has air-conditioning and private parking. In the evenings there is live piano entertainment to accompany your dinner.

the absolute best

this place is a romantic dream. First and foremost I must say that if you are afraid of Heights, even looking out the window,....GO ANYWAYS! Take a pill...Its very much worth it. This gorgeous romantic restaurant is located on the 16th floor of a high-rise building. You take 2 elevators to arrive. When you walk in, everything is candle lit(at night), white linen table cloths, immaculate setting and immediate customer service. At first, of course you notice the exquisite panoramic view of the city completely surrounding you due to the fact that the walls are entirely made of glass, and the room is round. The best feature, that is subtle but definately awesome is that the entire room is spinning. Slowly, so you are taken very slowly from one side of the glass room to the other, seeing the entire city at a 360 degree radius. The menu consists of anything from chicken, to seafood, to Pato L'Orange (orange duck..ufff) beef, and these sinful little shrimp and cheese filled potatoes...not to mention the dessert. I recommend "Fusin de Amor"...caramel crepes with tiramasu cream, stuffed papayas and chocolate truffle. so sinfull it will make you want to slap your grandmother! Sounds expensive right? WOuld you believe me if I told you that two people could eat all of that for under $60? Im talking drinks, appetizer, main course, salad, dessert...maybe $75 if you want to drink alcohol. by far its the best most elegant romantic exquisite restaurant I have ever had the honor of dining in, and its not just dinner, its a dining EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! if i could, i'd give it 6 stars!!!!!!!

The Best View!!
By ,
We loved this place!! We enjoyed excellent food and the price was very affordable. We had a beautiful panaroamic view of the city while we ate as the restaurant slowly turns at the top of a high rise building. The wait staff was excellent and attentive not to mention very polite. Next time we are in Santiago this is one place we will return to. We highly recommend you visit them and enjoy a wonderful meal. This will be one place you too will always remember!!

Excellent for an introduction to Santiago
By ,
Everything is great about this gem of a little well known resturant. The food is great and prices very affordable. Great view of the City, avoid on rainy or cloudy days. Like most things in Chile the maintenance and up keep of old classic places leaves something to be desired. But you can't miss this great place for dinner.
