Often, experienced, skilled mountain climbers are found scaling the face of the hill, but there are also nice hiking trails for your everyday hiker. These trails usually start from the left side of the Praia Vermelha sidewalk near the pedestrian zone "Pista Claudio Coutinho", between the mountain and the ocean.
