Description
The interior of this spectacular structure is a mix of baroque and Renaissance styles. The cupola, made entirely of limestone, is the most impressive feature of the church. The original construction was credited to a ship's captain in the 1600s, whose journey is depicted on six panels inside the church, but the church has been expanded during the last three centuries.
