Porcão, Rio de Janeiro

the wife and myself went here twice in september during a 3 week holiday of rio and all the reviews really dont do it justice. the quality and quantity are simply outstanding. were going back to rio (from england) in march and i`m not eating anything on the airplane just so i can eat my fill at porcoa. in my opinion and i`ve eaten in paris madrid vegas rome, this is the best.one very happy englishman and his brasilian wife...yum yum.

Holy cow, chichen, pork, fish & plus!!!! You will eat like a King/Queen and will be treated like so! I have never been to a steakhouse like Porcao's before. They are simply THE BEST!!! You must try it to understand! I've been all over USA, Canada & Europe and nothing comes close to food and service! We loved it!

Wonderful food, service, and a wonderful view of the city and the beaches. A private piece of heaven for a reasonable price. Need I say more?

...I ever had. The salad table and everything that goes on was fantastic. Will be coming back soon. It is a very pleasant place and the food perfect. You can choose from any kind of meet as well as several fish dishes also cheese, fruits,etc. I had my wife's family with me and the service was perfect even for a big group. Ronald Siegel

i had heard about it for a long time but each time i wanted to go,i was advised rather strongly to go only when i was really really hungry. now i understand. porcao is a wonderful experience and a must see for all visitors in Rio. Beautiful view, nice ambiance,waiters who want to please and the very best food. lots and lots of good food.

First off, you don´t have to be a carnivorous meat lover to enjoy a meal at this place, but it helps. They also offer fish, sushi, plenty of side dishes and various salad items to suit even the pushiest of vegetarians. The service is excellent, since the waiters pretty much have everyone covered (no matter how crowded the establishment looks), and are constantly looking out for their customers. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it and a beautiful view of one of Rio´s many classic locations, the Sugar Loaf (which is a welcome sight after a few beers).

This place is the mecca of all Brazilian BBQ restaurants called churrascas. It has the most amazing views of Pao de Asucar (Sugar Loaf), the famous rock on the coast. Endless amounts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken and more are brought to your table and sliced to order. Not to mention an extensive buffet that provides enough food on its own. The retaurant is very big, but so is the wait staff, so the service is amazing. A must when visiting Rio.

It is one of the best steakhouses I have ever been to. 10 star! Better than Charley's Seakhouse, top 5 in the nation. I request that all people visit this place, and you will not regret it!

I like very much eat in "Rodizios", so for me, this restaurant in question is one of the best "Rodizio" in the world. Concerning the service, all the people in there was very friendly and attentious. The meal was excellent. Don't misset, you must go there defennitly.
