Martina Polo Ranch, CAñUELAS

What an amazing place. Unlike other estancias I have been to, La Martina is only 20 minutes from the airport. The trees and setting are truly beautiful, and combined with the friendly family atmosphere created by Salvador Socas and his family, La Martina is second to none. There is nothing better after a hard day learning to play polo with the assortment of incredibly talented and patient professional players than relaxing by the pool and discussing the events of the day with like minded polo enthusiasts from all over the world. The evenings entertainments are varried and led by the guests - a night out in Buenos Aires which is only a half hour drive away, or a cosy night in eating and chatting, watching the fire flies glowing in the bushes. Nothing beats it.
