Description

Coringa Country Club is situated at McLean's Island in Christchurch. At par 73 and almost 6,000 meters in length, this golf course is a golfer's worst nightmare. The course is expansive, yet unyielding to wayward strokeplay. The club is very friendly and popular among youth players. Annually, the course hosts the Canterbury Secondary School Matchplay Championships. On course are a small pro-shop, practice facilities and a comfortable clubhouse.

Now This Is A Golf Course !

Challenging is an understatement. Even accomplished players are hard pushed to conquer this monster. yet several tee options to suit all playing levels. Well groomed fairways, large greens and expansive practice areas. Coupled with friendly & relaxed friendly service, this all augers well for an enjoyable experience. Coringa's Golf Professional, David Norquay, is attracting players from beginners to Canterbury representatives due to his marvellous coaching abilities. Martyn McLean
