Heathcote Valley Riding School, Christchurch

Seriously trust me. I go there and it truly is the best riding school ever! Skinny is a great instructor and comet is such a great horse. I reccomend going there. In the summer we get to take our ponies into the lake and we go on treks and play tonnes of games and lots more really fun stuff. Another thing that makes it even better than it already is , is that there are such nice, welcoming people there.

The environment is open and friendly,the instructors go the extra mile and are absolutely dedicated to the place. The horses are awesome, great for us as beginners,great for the whole family young and old. The farm is beautiful and lovely to trek round sith lovely scenery. Excited to go next after every lesson, I wouldnt consider going elsewhere. Affordable as well.

This riding school is a very open and has a very safe and fun learning enviroment. I enjoyed the lessons there and alll the young children going on the pony rides always returned with bigs smile on their faces and full with confidence. A very good place to learn to ride at a very reasonable price with horses that have kind natures. The instructors are very helpful and can work with any level rider but the pony rides seem extremly popular with the girls helping there run off their feet with smiles in there faces. I would recomend for everyone!

When I lived in NZ for 1/2 year, I went to HVRS. I went there once or twice a week and I really think this riding school was great. We always had a lot of fun and the instructor, Mandy, was great. We also did a lot of different things, so it never was boring. I usually rode Clyde or Comet, which both were great. I think if you want to learn how to ride or to improve your riding skills in a very nice and funny way, you should go to HVRS! I can't wait to go back when I visit NZ again!

Heathcote Valley Riding school is totally awesome. Venus and Astro are the best. All the ponies are great, I have the coolest instructor and the jumps are so cool. HVRS taught me so much. Also they have made me alot more confident and the treks are so fun. Molly, Trevor, Digger, Georgia, Astro and Venus ROCK!!! The arena is cool, the jumps are great and everything is 100% Perfect. I ride there regularly.

I love going riding there the horses and awsome i love riding Smokey and Astro and the tutors are amazing You can go on treks or just for little kids a ride around the big farm its huge

cute horses we espiecally like comet tonka and jazz the people are very kind and help where they can we love hvrs it is awesome we go there for lessons and would recommend it for any age or experience

i love heathcote valley riding school beacause the tutors are abousolutley love the horses especially big harry. they have exellent jumps,treks, and a dressage arena.

A wonderful experience with excellent instructors. Worth a try. We loved the friendly horses and environment. Helps you to learn to love the outdoors, farm life, and this area of christchurch. Made me realize the beauty that not all can see with horses and their individuality.
