Description

Atomic Cafe has been established for so long that they sell a custom T-shirt and branded coffee! Original brick walls, polished kauri floorboards and a collection of antique coffee pots lend character. There is a small garden and deck at the rear, complete with a sandpit for the kids. Check out the petanque happening out the back on Saturday mornings. As well as excellent coffee and a wide range of teas, the cakes and brioche are luscious! The tasty and healthy breakfast and lunch menus are up on the board.

Had the eggs benedict (full portion)... loads of salmon on the plate - delish :) Coffee was a bit average - but great food - reccomend to all... lovely service :)

Quirky lunch break in Ponsonby

Great belly filler on our walking tour of the city. The staff was friendly, food was good and quick. Hearth was warm, the patio was pleasant. Spied the world's largest cat in the dining area!

best coffee and food in town

great service from warm friendly staff, coupled with good food and a relaxed atmosphere make for a pleasant place to visit.Coffee is the best enough to make me drink an extra cup .

Fantastic Place for a relaxed breakfast

Atomic Cafe has long been a favorite of mine. A perfect place to spend a lazy weekend morning, enjoying the coffee and great breakfasts. Especially recommend the broiche. The only problem can be finding somewhere to sit, as it often gets very busy at peak times.
