Here you can make believe you are in Bodrum, Turkey. Brick walls, Turkish carpets, bare wooden tables, flickering candles and comfy cushions make the interior warm and inviting. They even have traditional belly dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. The freshness and quality of the meals are excellent. Try the Mezze Platter of hummus, tabbouleh, pita bread, beetroot salad, tuna salad and yoghurt dip at NZD11.90 (small) or NZD17.50 (large), or the staple but succulent Doner Kebab for NZD16.50. The wine (NZD26-45 per bottle) and beverage list is extensive. A good range of cigars is kept behind the bar.
There is an authentic atmosphere with beautiful surroundings, great belly dancers, and the best Turkish food I've had outside Turkey. The waiters are friendly and helpful and apologize soundly if the food is late etc...
