For training in windsurfing, sailing and kayaking, you cannot go beyond Balmoral Sailing Club, located at Balmoral Boatshed on Sydney's Lower North Shore. The head instructor, Jon Allen, has over fourteen years experience as a windsurfer and is very familiar with local conditions. Basic windsurfing classes are held on Saturday and Sunday, and throughout the week. Instructor courses are available as well, while the school also offers very popular Blown Away Sailboard Holidays. Bookings essential. Equipment can be hired on an hourly basis.
