Description

Far above the maddening crowds, Sydney Tower or AMP Tower has 360 degrees of Sydney's best views. It takes just 40 seconds for the double-decker lifts to reach the 304-meter summit. At 260 meters, the glass skywalk provides panoramic views of the city. This revolving vantage point was opened to public in 2005.

What a view

You can go to the top of the AMP tower and you have a beautiful view of Sydney from 360 degrees around. There are 3 restaurants you can dine with a range from moderately priced menus to the more expensive. The buffet in the revolving restaurant is a great value. Definately a must do for any Sydney tourist.

Went to the top level restaurant: food is fairly expensive for what you get, but the view will make you forget it all.

great view.

i didnt eat the food. but i got to see inside it..and it was nice..it wasnt easy to be up there casue im afraid of heights..but the view was amazing..unlike anything id seen at that point.

The buffet at Level 2 Centrepoint was awful. It was like the worst type of canteen food plus close seating so you have to knock into other people to even get to the buffet. The desserts were atrocious as well. We stayed less than an hour and would only recommend this to our enemies.

An excellent place to dine

My husband and I have been lucky enough to dine in the AMP Tower restaurant on both of the occasions we have visited Sydney. Both times we chose the buffet restaurant. The variety of choice is excellent, service and staff friendly and efficient. The views are just amazing it is surprising how many times the restaurant rotates as you dine giving superb views all the time. We highly recommend the experience.
