Florida Dolphin Tours, Orlando

I planned to visit Orlando in November 2009 and bought 2 tickets to go on the Miami Everglades excursion costing £138 from American Attractions (ATD Travel Services) who booked them through the Florida Dolphin Tours. I paid for them before I left the UK and received a letter telling me I had to confirm by telephone when I arrived in America. I didn’t understand why when I’d already paid for them and been given the date etc but didn’t think too much about it. Two days before I left, my hotel was changed due to renovations. However, although I tried during the 2 days when I arrived in America, I was unable to get through to speak to anyone. On the second night, I phoned Florida Dolphin Tours again from the hotel and left a message on the emergency number informing them of the hotel change and also sent an email to American Attractions telling them I had been unable to reach Florida Dolphin Tours. Florida Dolphin Tours did not turn up in the morning and we didn’t get to go on the tour. American Attractions told me there was nothing they could do and that I’d left it too late to contact Florida Dolphin Tours, although I had previously informed them that I had been unable to get through to them. I also spoke to Florida Dolphin Tours and spoke to a most unhelpful person who told me it was too bad and I’d lost my money. This posting is just to say I would never use American Attractions, ATD Travel Services or Florida Tours to book any trips or tickets and would advise no-one else to do so either.
