Perouse to Henry Head Walk (La), Sydney

An escape from the hussle and bussle of the city and yet so close. An excellent walk which can be broken into two by parking nearby and then moving on to another parking area. Great historical ruins in the embattlements. Just a shame they have been allowed to deteriorate and be attacked by vandals. Fantastic views, great rock platforms, a shipwreck and peace and quiet. One section is obviously a natural gross pollutant trap and needs a good clean up. Lots of plastic drink bottles and other rubbish in the aquatic reserve area of Banks Headland reserve. Shows just how much rubbish must go down our streets when it rains. This is my third visit and there will be more to follow.
