A short ten-minute walk from the city center on the far side of the river is St. Michael's Church, which is part of the Scottish Episcopal Church. They are especially proud of the fine stained glass windows by the renowned church architect Sir Ninian Comper. The church is open during daylight hours as a quiet refuge from a busy world.
