Beautiful

I travel to Newcastle for a holiday almost every year and each trip I make sure that I pay at least one visit to Glenworth Valley. It is a beautiful location and the feeling of freedom is worth the fee alone.
Horses generally are very good although my favourite of the last two years has been Gilligan, who is very co-operative.
Lots of wildlife to see including parrots that feed from trees by the ranch, and a crooked legged magpie that thinks it is a dog, and lies on it's back and lets you tickle it's tummy. Bizarre!!
Would thoroughly recommend a visit even if you don't wish to ride. It's lovely to just sit and chill out. Only complaint is the number of flies, but perhaps that is inevitable! Roger Lyon
