Description
Another gem on Sydney's northern peninsula, Whale Beach is particularly suitable for children and offers picnic and barbecue facilities. Stretch out on the clean sand or decamp to the twenty-five meter ocean pool at the southern end. Two beach inspectors patrol the beach from the September school holidays until the Anzac Day weekend (8a-5p Non-Daylight Saving, 8a-6p Daylight Saving). Volunteer lifesavers are also on duty at weekends and public holidays (Summer only).
