Nik-nak might be doing the collections of intricate potteries, jewelry and art to be found in this unassuming mall a disservice, but the sheer volume of items on display give the austere four-floor building the air of one huge antique store. Centred around a pretty, dark wood-finished cafe, the escalators snake elegantly up to expensive jewelry stores, middle-eastern looking grottos of collectables and even the most modern of graffiti galleries showcasing the city's best street artists. Every Saturday the corridors give way to an antique fair, where you suspect the hidden gems lurking in the deepest recesses of the shops are given an all-too rare outing. - Doug Gray
