Located above the Isar river, Ludwigsbrücke is an arch bridge linking the city center with suburb, Haidhausen and the neighborhood, Au. The bridge was seriously damaged in the second world war, but now has been restored and is a main link for transportation from the main city to the neighborhoods and suburbs of Munich.
