Description

A popular family beach, with playground and barbecue facilities, but watch out for the rips. There is also a children's pool and thirty-three metre lap pool. Two beach inspectors patrol the beach from the September school holidays until the Anzac Day weekend (8am-5pm Non-Daylight Saving, 8am-6pm Daylight Saving). Volunteer lifesavers are also on duty at weekends and public holidays (Summer only). Parking: AUD4 Mon-Fri; AUD8 Sat-Sun and Public Holidays.

mona vale my home away from home

i loved mona vale i went their for a surfing holiday and ill tell you this the waves were always good and fun while i was their the atmosphere on the beach is awsome and the locals are nice.. that brings me to my main tip stay on the locals good side i did and it pays off in the surf ill be bak soon mona vale asta la vista jimmy james oakland

a central experience

loved Mona Vale for it`s central location,handy to it`s own surfing beach and a further half a dozen excellent beach communities reaching to Palm Beach.Also for the sailing enthusiast Pittwater with it`s many marinas,safe sailing in sheltered waters; Kuringai national Park is handy too,wether reached by boat from many points on Pittwater or a short drive past Church Point. Mona Vale shopping and it`s other services make it a self contained friendly community with excellent transport links .Yes I have returned many times !Brian.

Perfect Beach

A great beach I have surfed, fished and snorkled at. Close to good shops, golf, park and the headland view is awsome. Not too far from Sydney with Mona Vale road taking you though to the northern suberbs very quickly. Enjoy it!!
