Warped Records, Sydney

The former Warped Records was THE store to check out for used records and CDs in it's time. A landmark in the Kings Cross area, Warped Records was a gathering place for fans of good music. Co-owners John and Gary worked hard to satisfy their customers needs. John can still be seen around the Kings Cross area a couple of times a year when this particular fan of his comes to town. After the shop closed, John and Gary each went on to pursue other careers, but have remained friends. I have witnessed that John is still remembered and very well thought of by former customers and employees from Wollengong to Katoomba. His passion for his favorite 70's Funk, Soul and Disco music continues on through his side job DJ'ing at clubs, weddings and other events. Kings Cross has never been the same after the closing of Warped Records for this fan. Leslie Kelley
