Colonial Williamsburg
Description
Watch glassblowers, blacksmiths and other artisans producing goods by tried-and-true colonial methods. Or perhaps participate in a re-enactment of a trial at the courthouse. The period homes, stores and other buildings in Williamsburg are full of interesting things to do and see. Once the capital of Colonial Virginia, the town has been restored so that visitors may see it as it was in the 1700s.
I love that everyone is dressed in period clothes and the re-enactments. They have a lot of good shops and resturants also. The admission is a little pricey but worth it.
too expensive. It would be believable if the actors actually lived like the colonists. Jamestown was much more interesting. Real history , not a tourist trap.
If you love history, you will love Colonial Williamsburg! The staff are very knowledgeable and informative. The buildings and gardens are amazing.
Cry Witch was a blast that I highly recommend! The cast were very talented and improvised amazingly well with the audience participation!
If you go while weather is hot, bring water! You will need it. I hope to return again!
