Garden of Agricultural Delights Tour & Tavern Dinner
Description
This event occurs in conjunction with the annual James River Plantations Celebrate Gardens Week. Although the event is a bit pricey, it is well worth it for the experience of dining on the creations of one of the area's finest chefs. Of course, you also get an extensive guided tour of the region's plantations, which is a bit like walking into a page of the eerie past. The tour stops at Piney Grove (1790), Dower Quarter (1835), Ashland (1835), Ladysmith (1857) and Duck Church (1900); dinner is then served. Admission is $55 per person.
