Peter's of Kensington
Peter's of Kensington has grown from a small, suburban gift shop into a three-story shopping Mecca and tourist destination. Its stock is quite extraordinary and ranges from cookware to tableware, home-wares, small kitchen appliances, gift-ware, cosmetics, toys and books. There is also a gourmet food section. A coffee shop, bridal registry, corporate gift service, mail order and free gift-wrapping complete the experience. Try to avoid the weekends (especially over the Christmas period) when the crush becomes almost unbearable.
I have heard so much about Peters over the years, but never got around to going. Finally a girlfriend convinced me to go. The place has absolutely everything!
The service was fantasic and the prices were cheaper than anywhere else I had been. I highly recommend going there if you have never been.
I've also just discovered the website, which I have never had a problem with, and provides efficient service.
This place is a definite five-stars in my books.
