Bar d'Hotel, Rio de Janeiro

Leblon's bars and nightclubs are a favorite haunt of Rio's 'gente bonita' (beautiful people), and if you want to see some prime examples of physical perfection then head here, to Bar d'Hotel. Located on the second floor of the hip Hotel Marina All Suites, this bar and restaurant is open to non-guests, but reservations are highly recommended. The food here is excellent, and cocktails are worth the steep price – especially the caipirinha made with sake. With decor that incorporates antique furnishings from across the globe, and spectacular views out across Leblon beach, it's almost enough to stop the stylish clientele from looking at each other.
