Description
This Korean-style village is nestled at the foot of Pukansan between Kyongbok Palace and the secret garden. There are 2,297 buildings of which 1,408 of them are Korean-style houses. Most of these structures have antique tiled roofs and stone walls. However, the traditional houses are slowly disappearing due to demand for renovation. The traditional toilets and briquet feul holes are being exchanged for more modern facilities and newer buildings.
