Worst exp. with waitstaff ever

The good: The food was nice enough, and things went smoothly until the end. It had good ambiance, was easy to locate, and we were happy during our meal.
The setup for the bad: The server accidentally added garlic bread to our order, and delivered it to our table. Because it arrived with the chicken main, and because the chicken main didn't come with rice or something, we thought it was part of the chicken main so didn't think to ask about it. It was only two slices, and we ate 1 1/2 slices.
The EXTREMELY bad: When we received the bill, we noticed the garlic bread, and flagged down our server. The server promptly fled, and another, male, server came to ask what was the problem. Here's where it gets bizarre. I absolutely understand asking us to pay for food we had consumed, and we were ready to do that. However, the server immediately got an attitude, grinning smarmily a couple of inches from my face, waving the 1/2 slice of garlic bread in our faces. "This is garlic bread! It is garlic bread. You see this? Hmm? You received the garlic bread, yes? You ATE the garlic bread, yes? HM? HM?? This is garlic bread!" We tried to explain but he wasn't having it, repeating himself, grinning like he had caught us with our hands in the cookie jar, shaking the remaining bread at us. Finally, he got another manager to come over, who promptly fixed our bill when we explained what had happened.
The server's incredibly nasty attitude totally soured our entire night and our previously contented experience at the restaurant. DO NOT go to this restaurant.
